Truco fácil y tal vez útil para muchos: (man ppp)

           set ifaddr [src_addr[/nn] [dst_addr[/nn] [netmask [trigger_addr]]]]

     where `src_addr' is the IP address that the local side is willing to use,
     `dst_addr' is the IP address which the remote side should use and
     `netmask' is the netmask that should be used.  `Src_addr' defaults to the
     current hostname(1), `dst_addr' defaults to 0.0.0.0, and `netmask' de-
     faults to whatever mask is appropriate for `src_addr'.  It is only possi-
     ble to make `netmask' smaller than the default.  The usual value is
     255.255.255.255, as most kernels ignore the netmask of a POINTOPOINT in-
     terface.


 * set ifaddr 200.0.0.0/8 148.1.1.1 255.255.255.255 0.0.0.0
           Solo acepto una IP del rango 200.0.0.0/8 (200.0.0.1 - 200.255.255.254)

 * set ifaddr 200.0.0.0/8 148.1.1.1 255.255.255.255 200.1.1.1
           Sugiero que mi IP sea la 200.1.1.1 en caso contrario solo acepto que la IP sea del rango 200.0.0.0/8

 * set ifaddr 200.1.1.1 148.1.1.1 255.255.255.255 200.1.1.1
           Sugiero y solo acepto que mi IP sea 200.1.1.1
