Ok, vale tu pregunta, pero por que no mejor aprender utilizando GNU/Linux??, es mejor que te inviten (o que invites) a alguien a utilizar GNU/Linux en vez de Cygwin, la razon, simple, no necesitas Windows para aprender el entorno de Unix.
